The Inclusion Center understands that different groups have different needs, and so our workshops are tailored to the outcomes and goals of our clients. However, several programs exist that illustrate our capacities and philosophy of partnership:
Building Bridges- Is a multi-year partnership with the Inclusion Center to promote inclusion and stop bullying in elementary schools. We work over the course of a year to provide education and empowerment to 5th and 6th grade classes, culminating in a family night / community celebration. Following years transition new 6th graders into leadership positions and capitalize on their early introduction to conflict resolution and community building. The Inclusion Center also partners with staff and administration to build facilitation skills that will sustain the program in following years.
School Clubs and Youth Groups-In a series of visits, our staff works with student leaders to develop goals, strategies, and projects that fit the mission of the group. The Inclusion Center's commitment to youth empowerment means that at no time is the club lead by the Inclusion Center, but instead young adults are equipped with the skills and guidance necessary to organize and effectively meet their goals.
