Yulia joined the Inclusion Center with a wealth of varied professional experience, including teaching and facilitation, curriculum design, grant writing and administration, event planning, donor management, and more.
Yulia grew up in the diverse city of Odessa, Ukraine, and became attuned to issues of social justice early in her life. Her lengthy career in higher education and her volunteer experience reflect her deep commitment to teaching, supporting, and engaging with those who are underrepresented or disadvantaged, including teaching English to low-income immigrants, educational access and outreach, and the empowerment of women.
In her personal life, Yulia is an avid reader, admirer of the arts, and an occasional—and very happy—cook. She relishes the time with her friends and family, especially her two wonderful children.
